See Africa's highest peak on a full-day tour. Trek up Mount Kilimanjaro to the first hut for a hearty lunch, enjoy views towards Moshi and look out for monkeys, birds and other local wildlife.
You drive from Moshi to Marangu Gate and hike through the montane rainforest towards Mandara Hut at 2,720 m, where a hot lunch waits. On a clear day the Maundi Crater viewpoint looks over the plains and across to Kibo, before you return to the gate in the afternoon.
